What to Expect
A pleasant, comfortable first visit builds trust and helps put the child at ease during future visits. We want your child to enjoy getting to know our dentist and staff, so we work hard to establish this bond during every appointment to our office. During your initial appointment, we will explain in detail and answer any questions you may have.

Your First Visit
Dr. White's practice caters to the special dental needs of children.  Starting early, Dr. White provides "Well Baby" dental exams at age 18 months and educates the parents on how to care for the primary teeth ...providing the child a chance for a lifetime of good dental health.

Children 3 years and older will receive a complete oral and cavity exam, x-rays (if indicated), a complete cleaning and fluoride treatment by the hygienist and finally a consultation to relate all findings and to answer any questions you might have at that time.  Also,  the hygienist and the dentist will make suggestions as to a great start in their dental health.

Other orthodontic treatments will be discussed at the exam visit

• Each patient receives individual attention and each treatment plan is discussed with the parent before any treatment is rendered.
• Dr. White has staff privileges at the Las Colinas Surgery Center, which provides more personal attention than a large hospital.
• Dr. White has been in practice in Irving since 1984. Many of her original patients now have their own children who are patients of Dr. White. We consider it the ultimate compliment when former patients want us to care for their own children.
• Dr. White attends continuing education classes to keep aware of currents trends and products in dentistry.
