Sedation Dentistry

Dr. White prefers to do sedation dentistry at the Las Colinas Surgery Center where she has medical staff privileges. Using a Pinnacle Anesthesia physician, all the dental work is completed in a day surgery hospital environment. Following a short stay in the recovery room with a nurse, the patient is sent home the same afternoon. Dr. White's surgical assistant, Sarah, works with the parents both before and after the surgery to assure that all questions are answered. Sarah also helps with insurance preauthorization.

As an alternative, Dr. White can bring a dental anesthesiologist to the office to complete large or complex cases in one visit. The patient is monitored the entire time by the anesthesiologist to ensure safety and comfort. For more information on IV Sedation click here.

• are bothered by the noises, smells and tastes associated with dental care
• are unable to cooperate in the office
